PANELO ROOF PANELS ALIGN WITH THE FUTURE HOMES STANDARD (FHS)
With PANELO roof panels, you're not just meeting the Future Homes Standard—you're building beyond it. Our composite timber panels deliver exceptional thermal performance, airtightness, and structural integrity in one prefabricated system that saves time, labour, and space.
Built for Future-Ready Building Standards
From 2025, the Future Homes Standard will mandate new homes to achieve a 75–80% improvement in energy efficiency compared to 2013 regulations.
PANELO roof panels are engineered to help both residential and commercial buildings meet and surpass Part L requirements, offering excellent airtightness and U-values as low as 0.11 W/m²K—without the need for added insulation or vapor barriers.

High-Performance Closed-Cell PUR Insulation

Quick, Accurate Installation on Site
PANELO panels are delivered with pre-cut openings for services, skylights, and chimneys. Benefits include:
-
Reduced labour time on site
-
Faster creation of a weatherproof envelope
-
Fewer installation errors that can compromise energy or acoustic performance

Slim Profile, Bigger Usable Space
Despite high insulation values, the panels maintain a thin build-up. This increases internal floor area in lofts and upper levels without raising the ridge height—critical for compliance in conservation zones or tight urban developments.

Architectural Flexibility Without Compromise
Thanks to their structural strength, PANELO roof systems support a variety of design options:
-
Long unsupported spans
-
Vaulted and cathedral ceilings
-
Flat or pitched roofs
-
Compatible with timber, steel, or hybrid framing
Perfect for both modern residential homes and commercial projects aiming for future-proof performance.

Technical & Regulatory Support
We assist with:
-
Comprehensive data sheets (U-values, fire classifications, load ratings)
-
Structural calculations
-
SAP and Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) support for compliance with Part L and beyond
PANELO STRUCTURAL ROOF PANELS
NO MOISTURE, NO DAMP INSIDE STRUCTURES.

Combipanel timber sandwich panels go beyond the simplicity of SIP panels by incorporating technically superior materials and construction methods. Each panel features a robust LVL board, OSB sheathing, and injected PUR foam insulation. The closed-cell foam is inserted in liquid form using a controlled process that ensures full cavity fill, leaving no gaps and providing excellent thermal performance.
These structural panels are manufactured to order, based on your specific project details—including dimensions, thermal U-values, and load requirements. Internal LVL beams reinforce roof and floor panels, providing additional strength where it’s needed most.

PANELO STRUCTURAL CEILING PANELS

Version 1 – LVL-PUR-OSB

Version 2 – OSB-PUR-OSB
At Combipanel, our closed timber-frame structural panels offer an advanced alternative to traditional SIP panels, with a significantly more refined construction. Each panel is composed of a durable timber frame, engineered LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber), OSB board, and high-performance closed-cell PUR foam insulation. The insulation is applied as a liquid and expands within the panel using specialised equipment, resulting in a rigid, fully bonded structure without voids.
Our panels are precision-manufactured and pre-cut to meet the exact needs of your project, including integrated openings for roof windows, chimneys, and other architectural details. They are designed to meet high energy-efficiency standards such as low-energy and passive house requirements, all while maintaining slim structural profiles that help maximise your building’s usable interior space.
